Additional Information

Cancellations & Changes:

Cancellations must be in writing and Received before 15 July 2010, for a full refund of payment. Received after 15 July 2010, NO REFUND. All refunds, if any, will be processed after the organization of the event.

Name change (same Category and Division) will be accepted up to 72 hours before the event without any additional charge. OC should be informed about changes in the travel program 72 hours prior to arrival. If your arrival is later than your original schedule, the room charges will start from the original date indicated by the Member Association in their Accommodation request.

Transport:

Your entry fee includes your airport transportation and also transportation between hotels and the field during competition. Transportation from the airport will start two (2) days before the official practice day and will end the day after the finals.

Meals in the Venue:

A cafeteria is available near the qualification venue at the Weber State University (WSU) Student Union Building. If you are staying in Official Accommodations (WSU dormitories or The Hampton Inn & Suites Hotel) meals are included in your reservation. Meals are available from Breakfast on Sunday, 1 August through Lunch on Sunday, 8 August. Meals are served during these hours:

  • Breakfast: 7:00 - 9:00
  • Lunch: 11:00 - 14:00
  • Dinner: 18:00 - 21:00

Weather:

Utah's northern region typically experiences hot, dry summer weather. Summer high temperature can exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius) with the possibility for a sporadic thunderstorm. The website Weather Underground (Ogden, UT 84401) will inform you on the weather that you can expect during your stay in Ogden.

Training:

There will be a training field available beginning Sunday, 1 August 2010, and is located approx. 500 meters from the competition field.

Opening Ceremony and Other Ceremonies:

Opening ceremonies will be the evening of 3 August 2010. FITA dress code will be required. More details will be provided at the team captains meeting.
